The Daereungwon Tomb Complex is a park filled with 23 large, grass-covered burial mounds from the Silla Dynasty, where ancient kings and nobles are buried. The highlight is Cheonmachong (“Heavenly Horse Tomb”), the only tomb open to the public, where gold relics and royal artifacts were found.
Tips:
• Don’t climb the mounds—this is strictly forbidden.
• Visit Cheonmachong Tomb to see the interior and artifacts.
• Allow about 1–2 hours for a relaxing walk among the tombs.
