🏛 Hellemann Tower in Tallinn - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Hellemann Tower in Tallinn’s Old Town, Estonia

A medieval defensive tower near Viru Gate in Tallinn’s Old Town. Built in the early 15th century, it now houses an art gallery and offers access to a 200m (656ft) long section of the old city wall—one of the longest parts open to visitors. From the tower and walkway, you get excellent views of the Old Town and its rooftops.

Tips:
• Entry fee is modest; free with the Tallinn Card.
• Climb steep stairs and walk along narrow, wooden wall planks—wear good shoes.
• Visit early or late to avoid crowds and enjoy the best light for photos.
• Great for history lovers and families, but the heights and stairs may not suit everyone.
• Check opening times, which can vary by season.

📍 Location in 3, Uus, Vanalinn, City center, Tallinn, Harju County, 10111, Estonia
